Musical Holiday in Yerevan Continues
Yerevan Perspectives The 20th International Music Festival presents French mega-star cellist Gotie Capuson.

For the first time, he will present to the Armenian audience the performance of two of the most beautiful works of the classical repertoire. Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations and Concerto No. 1 by Saint Sans will sing with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Eduard Topchyan. Gottie Capuson's concert will take place on September 24 at 8 pm at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

Gothie Capuson is the real cellist ambassador of the 21st century. He is a soloist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Berlin, Vienna, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, NHK Japan, Sydney, London, Munich, Paris.

Jubilee concerts will take place October 1-9, featuring Grammy Award-winning violinist Pinchas Zukerman, Grammy Award-winning violinist Kim Kashkashian, drummer Robin Shulkowski, Kus String Quartet and more.

The festival kicked off on April 29 with a memorable concert by British vocal group The Swingles. Ivo Pogorelic's solo concert was followed by performances by the Parker Quartet and the Amadinda Drum Ensemble. The sensational solo concert of Japanese born pianist Nobuyuki Fuji took place on September 6, and for the first time in Armenia on September 15 the famous Sir Andrash Schiff performed an unforgettable solo concert in Armenia.
