A Passionate Spanish Evening by the Chamber Orchestra
The State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia performed a unique concert program.

On December 15, the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall hosted (artistic director and principal conductor of the SCOA Vahan Martirosyan) two world-famous artists. Led by renowned Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano, world-renowned guitarist Petrit Ceku (Croatia / Kosovo) performed in our country for the first time, working closely with renowned Hauser and other superstars and for the first time in our region.

The concert program included Joaquin Rodrigo's Concerto Arankhuesyan, Bizet-Shchedrin's "Carmen Suite", Isaac Albenis "Asturias" and other works.

Maestro Marciano states that such a program is very attractive to the general public. The program was designed to present it in Spanish rhythms.

Soloist, guitarist Petrit Cheku, Marciano emphasize that he is an exceptional talent in the magnificent master guitarist, performs in the different countries of the world. Maestro appreciates the cooperation with the artist and the orchestra very positively.

Petrit Ceku is honest, he has always wanted to perform in Armenia. His first manager was an Armenian, besides, the artist admits that many Armenian musicians have influenced his development. It proves that although he was in our country for the first time, he had a sense of closeness.

The concert was top-notch with the audience's warm reactions and standing applause.

Italian conductor Gianluca Marciano is a highly popular artist worldwide. Currently he is the principal conductor of the Serbian National Theater. He is also the artistic director of Beirut's prestigious Al Bustan Festival, he founded the Suoni dal Golfo Festival in Lerich. He has appeared in various countries around the world. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. He has collaborated with stars such as Gothey Capuson, Khatia Buniatishvili, Anna Tiffun, Steven Iserlis, Alexandra Sum and others. The conductor appeared in the black list of Azerbaijan for visiting Artsakh years ago.

Virtuoso guitarist Petrit Zeku has performed in Europe and North America. He has been soloist with the Baltimore Symphony, Czech Chamber Music, Zagreb Philharmonic and other orchestras. Laureate of many international competitions.
