John Green, as the author, appeared in the literary field in 2005 when his Alaska Quest novel was released. The following year, Green was awarded the "Printz" prize for that novel, and only six years later, when his "Stars Are Guilty" novel was published, did it top the New York Times bestseller list. In 2014, the same-name film was made, which became the most watched movie in the United States. Greene was later included in Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World."
“John Green is one of the most influential people in the world, a writer who has been creating for over 12 years and has sold over 20 million copies in the past. That's a great figure. Our publishing house is trying to make literary masterpieces accessible to Armenian readers by publishing world-class works of literature,” - said Rosa Grigoryan, Public Relations Officer at Edit Print Publishing.
Having read John Green's previous three books and looking forward to the fourth, Lilit Manukyan says that Green is different from other writers in its simplicity and immediacy. “In all his novels, this writer addresses the typical situations of adolescents, presenting the problems they often encounter. It is great when a young writer writes for young people in a clear, simple and beautiful language. To be honest, I wondered why our publishers had not translated the Alaska Quest novel until now."
