The lower house of the Spanish parliament, the Congress of Deputies, has ratified the Armenia-EU Comprehensive Extended Partnership Agreement.

Arman Yeghoyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on European Integration, informed about this. "It will soon be discussed in the upper house, the Senate," said Yeghoyan.

He also informed that in Italy only the vote of the Chamber of Deputies is left to complete the ratification process of the agreement, as the issue has already been discussed in the Chamber, and was ratified in the Senate in September 2019 last year.

In Portugal, the third country that has not yet ratified the agreement, it will soon be included in the agenda of the plenary sessions of the country's unicameral parliament.

After the ratification process in these three countries, the agreement will enter into force in full.
